Episode #173:

 David Kastelman on Yale University

David Kastelman is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Cognitive Science.

At Yale, David played intramural sports.

He was particularly good at Razzle Dazzle Football.

If you haven’t heard of it, that’s okay. It’s kind of a Yale thing.

A variation of touch football.

David told his buddies that he was the best player.

They wondered aloud if it mattered. There is nowhere else he could play, they said. Outside of Yale, that is.

But David didn’t care.

He really liked Razzle Dazzle Football, and he had some great games at the Intramurals.

He was soon vindicated.

The Yale Daily News ran a story about his successes in Razzle Dazzle Football.

For David, this was the coolest thing. His time in the Sun.

He had captured The Glory of the Intramurals!

In the Podcast with David, we discussed this and other topics about Yale:

  • On choosing Yale
  • Majoring in Economics and Cognitive Science
  • Residential Colleges and Intramural Sports
  • Summer in Ghana
  • Advice to Aspirants
