How to Prepare for AEEE 2019- Amrita Engineering Entrance Test, also referred as AEEE, will be conducted by Amrita University on various dates of April 2019 in online and offline mode. This university-level entrance test will be held to shortlist the eligible candidates for UG engineering courses offered by various campuses of the University. In AEEE 2019, candidates have a time duration of 02 hours 30 minutes where candidates have to solve the maximum number of questions from a total of 100 multiple choice questions. Though AEEE 2019 is easier than the JEE Main Entrance Test, preparation will require the same efforts and dedication. Hence, we have mentioned a few AEEE 2019 preparation tips in this article to assist you in qualifying the test with an ease.

AEEE 2019 Preparation Tips

Prior to reading ahead, candidates are advised to stay focused and dedicated while preparing for AEEE, else these tips will become worthless for you. Start the preparation by getting all the details of AEEE 2019. Let’s start with the tips-

Tip 1- Know the Pattern & Syllabus

As we have mentioned earlier, preparation starts with gathering the details of Amrita Engineering Entrance test especially exam pattern and syllabus. The syllabus comprises of all important topics of the entrance test and exam pattern provides details of marking scheme, number of question, total marks and other. Candidates should prepare each and every topic of the syllabus to get good scores in the test. Below we have mentioned the details of pattern and syllabus-

AEEE Exam Pattern

  • Candidates will have 02 hours 30 minutes to solve the paper.
  • The test will be held in pen and paper mode and computer-based mode.
  • All the question will be of multiple choice i.e objective type questions.
  • Questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics for engineering courses and Physics, Chemistry & Biology for Biotechnology course
  • Only the English language will be used to create the question papers.
  • To each correct answer, +3 Marks will be awarded, however, for each wrong answer, -1 mark will be deducted.

Tip 2- Select the Right Book

After getting the complete details of important topics and pattern, candidates should choose the appropriate book for the preparation. It is necessary for an aspirant to choose the right books which will help them to understand the concepts in easily. Most of the time, students opt for the books that are recommended by their friends but their hardly understand the language and end up confusing themselves. Hence, only select the books that contain all the topics of the syllabus in easy language. Experts recommend only NCERT books, however, to know the numerical variation, candidates can refer a few reference books that are listed below.

Tip 3- Make a Study Plan

Now, the next step is to divide your time strategically to make a good study plan. Reading random topics will not lead you anywhere. Hence, if you want to cover the maximum syllabus, first figure out the most important topics. You can check the previous year’s papers to get the details of important chapters and make a study plan smartly so that you can focus on each section of the paper. Always prepare the easiest topics first then move to the hardest one. This will save your time and build confidence.

Tip 4- Make Short Notes

While preparing a particular topic, aspirants are advised to make hand-written short notes or flashcards. These short notes should cover only important facts and formulas. Creating hand-written short notes will help in understanding the concept in a better way and also helps in memorizing the things. These short notes/ flash cards are also considered important for revision section as you don’t have to carry the heavy books. You can revise the syllabus anywhere and everywhere, whether you are traveling or enjoying your break time.

Tip 5- Revise Regularly

Revision is a must for every preparation strategy. We all know that the syllabus of the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination is vast and remembering each topic till the D-day is not possible for students. Due to stress and nervousness to crack the test, aspirant often forget the easiest formula while taking the test. However, with revision, you can stay in touch with prepared topics and increases you confidence.

Tip 6- Solve Sample Papers/ Mock Test

Tip 8- Stay Away from Social Media

Nowadays, social media is trending such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more. It is a favourite time pass for most of the students. Hence, they devote their break time in posting pictures and checking updates. However, this is a practice engulfs their precious time. It is advised to stay away from these distracting mediums.

Tip 9- Stay Healthy

While preparing for the AEEE entrance test, it is not necessary to forget day and night. Along with the preparation, candidates should give importance to their health. Always remember, your mind works better if your body is healthy. Hence, neither skip your meal or sleep to prepare. Even avoid the fast food and unhealthy snacks.

Tip 10- Be Positive & Focused
