Jabalpur Engineering College (JEC) is a “Gateway of Brilliant Future” for those learners who have zest & endurance for the field of engineering. College strongly believes that through its efficient and well qualified faculty they will nurture the shining stars of tomorrow. Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur was commenced on 7 July, 1947. The college was declared autonomous in the year 1998 by the government of Madhya Pradesh. College provides ideal under graduate and Post graduate engineering programmes for the learners. This famous Institution got the distinction of being the Second Engineering College in India and is the premier institution of Engineering Education in Central India. The mission of the college is to conduct research in the frontier areas and to develop innovative and creative problem solving skills.

Scholarships:
JEC has for its regular students all the National/State Scholarship available to the eligible candidates. State scholarships for the welfare and promotion of ST, SC, OBC and the child of landless agriculture labour.
Physically challenged candidates are also provided with scholarships.
Besides these Regular Scholarships, Our College has the pride of honouring those students who display exceptional qualities in Academics by conferring them the Gold Medal.
