Which schools are compared most with Brown University?

I would say most commonly Yale, but also more generally all the Ivies (except Columbia - you should know why) and Stanford. I'd say Columbia, UChicago, Cornell, Penn and MIT are the few schools that students looking at Brown generally never even apply to because their philosophies, and campus culture are just so widely different.
